After six months of online yoga classes, the time has come to take our first tentative steps back to in-person classes. From Thursday 1st October, the two morning yoga classes will be offered in-person and 'live-stream' via Zoom.

The live-stream option is intended to make classes as inclusive as possible, meaning that students can continue to join classes virtually. This may be a suitable alternative for anyone who is shielding; is in quarantine after travelling abroad; is required to self-isolate due to covid symptoms; along with anyone who simply doesn't feel ready to return to class at the moment.

All in-person classes can be attended on a pre-arranged basis. If you are new or returning to class after sometime, please get in touch to book a space. It is not possible to offer ad-hoc drop in options at this time. If you would like to be notified when a drop in space is available, please let me know.

In light of the latest government advice, the following measures have been put in to place to make classes COVID safe:

Booking & Payment

All classes must be booked and paid for in advance. Please pay online via the website. As spaces are limited, please get in touch to confirm there is a space for you.

Three Simple Actions


Please follow these three simple actions to keep on protecting each other:                                                                                     

Arriving for Class

Please arrive in good time and be respectful of others' concerns around social distancing. Avoid socialising in groups before / after class. 

COVID Safe Venues

The Todfellows Space and Heptonstall Bowling Club are COVID Safe venues. Both venues have QR codes displayed for NHS Test & Trace.

Hands

Please sanitise your hands before and after class. Both venues have hand sanitiser available at their entrance, along with handwashing facilities.

Room Set Up

Mat spaces will be marked at each venue. If attending with a member of your household, or social bubble, you do not need to observe 2 metre mat spacing.

COVID-19 Symptoms

If you, or any members of your household, are displaying Covid-19 symptoms please do not come to class. You are welcome to attend online instead.

Face

Face masks must be worn when entering and moving around the venue (unless exempted). Please feel free to remove your mask during the class.

Yoga Equipment

It will not be possible to offer shared equipment. Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, blocks or cushions. You may wish to sanitise these after use.

NHS Test & Trace

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms, within 7 days of attending class, please let us know. Test & Trace QR codes are displayed at both venues.

Space

Please observe social distancing, as you enter and move around the venue. Class sizes have been reduced to ensure 2 metre social distancing.

Ventilation

Venues are ventilated between groups. Internal doors and a window will be left open during class to maintain air flow. Please wear extra layers.

As you know, government advice continues to change and often at short notice. Updates to these guidelines will be made to reflect the latest advice, please read this page carefully and check it from time to time, to make sure you are keep abreast of any adjustment to our classes.
