Stoke Rochford Hall, Lincolnshire with Claire Thomas
Friday 16th to Sunday 18th July 2021
Step away from the demands of daily life at Stoke Rochford Hall.
After a year of lockdowns and social distancing, it's the perfect get away location. The retreat will be a lovely opportunity to enjoy the spacious surroundings of this country house hotel.
Making the most of our expansive practice space, the hall's manicured gardens and surrounding grounds, the weekend will include yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation, interspersed with short periods of silence.
Over the weekend, you will be encouraged to take time for yourself, to move freely, to breathe deeply and enjoy the freedom of getting away from it all. What better way to treat yourself, than with a retreat?
Want to know more...
Nestled close to the borders of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, Stoke Rochford Hall is approached through rolling parkland. The hall itself, sits in beautiful terraced gardens, providing us with the opportunity to renew our relationship with nature over the weekend.
During our stay we will be based in a separate wing of the hotel. The Newton Room is a light, airy space with a fabulously ornate moulded ceiling… you’ll find it hard not to look up in shavasana! Weather permitting, we'll also make use of the gardens for some of our practice.
With arrival from 4pm on Friday, our weekend will begin with yoga and yoga nidra before dinner. Each day will start with early morning yoga, pranayama and meditation. During the day there will be further yoga practice, teachings, time for questions and a late afternoon yoga nidra. There will be some free time on Saturday afternoon to rest, enjoy the gardens or take a walk in the surrounding parkland.
The weekend will close at 4pm on Sunday. I hope that you will leave feeling rested and more in tune with yourself and the world around you.
