Step away from the demands of daily life, at beautiful Stoke Rochford Hall, this Winter. With the festive season a distant memory and energy levels at a low ebb, it's the perfect time to treat yourself to a weekend of gentle yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation.... all interspersed with short periods of silence.
Over the weekend, you will be encouraged to tune in to your intuition, dreams and visions for the year ahead. Recharging your energy levels, in preparation for the re-awakening and fertility of Spring. Set in the beautiful rolling countryside, there will also be time to step outside and breathe in some lovely fresh air!
The weekend will follow the routine of simple ashram style living, whilst allowing you to enjoy the more comfortable surroundings of Stoke Rochford Hall.

Nestled close to the borders of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, Stoke Rochford Hall is approached through rolling parkland. The hall itself, sits in beautiful terraced gardens, providing us with the opportunity to renew our relationship with nature over the weekend.
During our stay we will be based in a separate wing of the hotel. The Newton Room is a light, airy space with a fabulously ornate moulded ceiling… you’ll find it hard not to look up in shavasana!
With arrival from 4pm on Friday, our weekend will begin with yoga and yoga nidra before dinner. Each day will start with early morning yoga, pranayama and meditation. During the day there will be further yoga practice, teachings, time for questions and a late afternoon yoga nidra. There will be some free time on Saturday afternoon to rest, enjoy the gardens or take a walk in the surrounding parkland.
The weekend will close at 4pm on Sunday. I hope that you will leave feeling rested and more in tune with yourself and the world around you.
Accommodation is twin share, with the option to book a single room.
The retreat includes all meals, along with morning tea and traybakes. Meals will be vegetarian, with a wider range of options at dinner.
Bedrooms are in the historical Courtyard part of the hotel. Each has tea making facilities. Please advise with your booking if you have any food intolerances and/or wish to share with a friend.
Bring your usual yoga clothes, mat, blanket and any other equipment you may need. Warm clothes and walking shoes are good if you want to take a stroll.
How to find Stoke Rochford Hall
Stoke Rochford Hall is approximately 7 miles South of Grantham and 30 miles from both Nottingham and Leicester, making it easily accessible from the A1/M1. It can be reached by car, using the postcode NG33 5EG. If you prefer to use public transport, the closest train station is Grantham, which is on the East Coast Mainline.
You're welcome to arrive early on Friday to relax in your room or enjoy the grounds before we begin. The hotel also does afternoon tea, if you want a proper treaty start to your weekend!
