Stoke Rochford Hall, Lincolnshire with Claire Thomas
Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2020
Step away from the demands of daily life at beautiful Stoke Rochford Hall this Autumn.
Over the weekend of the Autumn Equinox, we will come together to honour the changing seasons and deepen our yoga practice. There will be yoga asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra, interspersed with short periods of silence.
A time of balance and harmony, the Autumn prepares us for the darker months of the year. A time for rest, recuperation and inner knowing, you will be encouraged to slow down and create some much needed space away from the demands of daily life.
The weekend will follow the routine of simple ashram style living, whilst allowing you to enjoy the more comfortable surroundings of Stoke Rochford Hall.

Nestled close to the borders of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, Stoke Rochford Hall is approached through rolling parkland. The hall itself, sits in beautiful terraced gardens, providing us with the opportunity to renew our relationship with nature over the weekend.
During our stay we will be based in a separate wing of the hotel. The Newton Room is a light, airy space with a fabulously ornate moulded ceiling… you’ll find it hard not to look up in shavasana!
With arrival from 4pm on Friday, our weekend will begin with yoga and yoga nidra before dinner. Each day will start with early morning yoga, pranayama and meditation. During the day there will be further yoga practice, teachings, time for questions and a late afternoon yoga nidra. There will be some free time on Saturday afternoon to rest, enjoy the gardens or take a walk in the surrounding parkland.
The weekend will close at 4pm on Sunday. I hope that you will leave feeling clearer and more in tune with yourself and the world around you.
