Alongside regular yoga classes, one of my passions is women's health. I love supporting women through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal months, along with helping women of all ages improve their pelvic health. I'm a Birthlight trained, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Teacher. Their training is thorough, comprehensive and requires completion of extensive course-work before you are able to describe yourself as a qualified teacher. Along with completing their training, I've also undertaken further courses to help support women's recovery from rectus diastasis and pelvic floor weakness.
Whilst I no longer teach weekly pregnancy or postnatal group classes, instead I work with women to improve their pelvic health. This includes strengthening weak pelvic floor, abdominal and lower back muscles, and supporting women with rectus diastasis. Poor pelvic health is something which affects us all and can have a very real impact on the way we live our lives.
Whether you join a course or want something tailored to you, I can help to deepen your understanding of your body and offer you a range of tools to support your long-term health and wellbeing. Teaching is delivered via specific short courses or privately with 1:1 clients. After the changes of the last year, I'm happy to work in-person or online to suit your needs.
Short courses don’t run all the time, so please take a look at the specific courses for upcoming start dates. If I don't have something planned, I'm happy to run a course for a you and a group of your friends or chat about private classes. Feel free to get in touch.
