,At Padma Yoga, I teach introductory courses, weekly classes, weekend workshops and two rather lovely weekend retreats each year. Classes are taught in levels, to help you develop your practice at a pace which is comfortable for you. Before you begin, it’s good to think about what you want from a yoga practice.
Is it to learn more about your body... alleviate stress, anxiety or depression... meet new people... address particular physical imbalances or injury... learn to meditate... or help manage a long-term health condition? Whatever you're looking for, yoga has a huge amount to offer. The best part, is that as our lives change and grow, so will our yoga practice.
If you're new to yoga, I usually recommend attending classes for a minimum of eight weeks, to get a feel for whether yoga is for you.
